How to Sign Up
Your insurance provider gives you a unique ID number that we use to process your membership. You do not pay us directly.

Does my insurance cover a gym membership?
It depends on your plan. Many Medicare Advantage and supplemental insurance plans include a fitness benefit through programs like SilverSneakers, Renew Active, FitOn Health, or Active & Fit. The best way to check is to call the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask if your plan includes a gym benefit.
How do I sign up for an insurance-based membership?
Just come to the front desk and bring your insurance ID number. Each program has a different format for that number, so check the "How to Sign Up" section above to locate yours before you come in. Our team will take care of the rest and get you set up the same day.
Do I need to bring anything with me to sign up?
Yes. Bring a valid photo ID and your insurance ID number. You do not need to bring your insurance card itself, but having it handy can help if you need to look up your ID number on the spot.
Do I pay anything out of pocket?
No. With an insurance-based membership, your insurance provider pays us directly using your unique ID number. You do not owe us anything each month as long as your plan remains active and covers the benefit.
What amenities are included with an insurance membership?
All insurance-based members receive full access to our equipment and locker room, all Group X fitness classes, tanning beds, a guest pass, and 20% off most purchases including personal training. You get the same great experience as our regular members.
Can I cancel my insurance membership at any time?
Yes, but one month's notice is required to cancel. Cancellation requests must be submitted by email to [email protected] or by certified mail. Insurance-based memberships are not eligible for the standard waiver policy.
What happens if my insurance coverage changes or ends?
If your insurance benefit ends or changes, your membership through that program would no longer be active. Please let us know as soon as possible if your coverage changes. You are always welcome to switch to one of our standard month-to-month memberships to keep your access going.
I'm not sure which program my insurance uses. How do I find out?
Call the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask if your plan includes a fitness benefit and which program it uses. You can also check your plan's website or benefits summary. We accept ASHlink, FitOn Health, Renew Active, Renew One Pass, and SilverSneakers (Prime and standard).
Can I bring a guest with my insurance membership?
Yes! Your insurance membership includes a guest pass so you are welcome to bring one guest along when you visit.
