Senior Workouts
Gentler classes, trainers who work with older members, and a membership your insurance may already cover in full.
"Senior workouts" is not one class. It is a gentler version of most of what is already on the timetable, plus a way of paying for it that a lot of people over 65 turn out to have already.
Your insurance may cover the membership
FIT EVO accepts SilverSneakers and SilverSneakers Prime, Renew Active and Renew One Pass, Active & Fit, Active & Fit Direct, Silver & Fit, and FitOn Health. On one of those there is nothing to pay us. The membership carries full access to the equipment and the locker room, all Group X classes, tanning, a guest pass, and 20% off most purchases including personal training.
Bring a photo ID and your program ID number to the front desk and the team can set it up the same day. Insurance-based memberships shows where to find that number on each plan, and what to do if you are not sure whether your plan includes a fitness benefit.
The gentler end of the timetable
The Group X schedule carries the Foundational Fitness Series — gentle classes built for seniors, beginners and anyone recovering from an injury. Beyond that, each of these has a page written for older members:
- Yoga classes for seniors
- Pilates for seniors
- Tai Chi classes for seniors
- Zumba classes for seniors
- HIIT workouts for seniors
- Personal trainers for seniors
Stretch & Mobility belongs on the same list — range of motion and recovery rather than load.
One-to-one, if a class is not where you want to start
Our trainers work with clients at every fitness level, including people recovering properly from an injury, and build the programme around the person. Every membership includes a free training consultation. Personal training starts at $35 a session, and it is 20% off on Premium or on an insurance-based membership.
Practical things
The building opens at 4:00 AM Monday to Friday and 6:00 AM at weekends. The dry sauna is in both locker rooms, included with every membership. Everything is in one building on Iowa Street, so there is one check-in and no driving between sites.
If you would rather look around before signing anything, a first-time visitor pass is $5 at the desk. Anything this page does not answer, the front desk will: (360) 746-6354.
